CITIES RECEIVE $142.6 MILLION
COUNTY RETURNS TOTAL $31.1 MILLION
The December distribution of sales tax collections by the Oklahoma Tax Commission primarily represents local tax receipts from October business. Companies that remit more than $2,500
monthly in sales tax receipts are required to file and pay electronically. The monies they reported
this period represent sales from October 16th to October 30th and estimated sales from
November 1st to November 15th.
The disbursement of $130,904,289 in sales tax collections was returned to 511 cities and towns reflecting an increase of $2,615,512 from the $128,288,777 distributed to 510 cities and towns in December last year. The use tax disbursement of $11,703,376 was distributed between 370 cities
In county returns, 76 counties shared in a $28,806,686 sales tax disbursement. The use tax disbursement of $2,310,671 was distributed between 75 counties.
