CITIES RECEIVE $141.1 MILLION
COUNTY RETURNS TOTAL $32.5 MILLION

The November distribution of sales tax collections by the Oklahoma Tax Commission primarily represents local tax receipts from September business.  Companies that remit more than $2,500
monthly in sales tax receipts are required to file and pay electronically.  The monies they reported
this period represent sales from September 16th to September 30th and estimated sales from  
October 1st to October 15th.

The disbursement of $130,519,188 in sales tax collections was returned to 511 cities and towns reflecting an increase of $7,216,818 from the $123,302,370 distributed to 509 cities and towns in November last year.  The use tax disbursement of $10,622,351 was distributed between 378 cities
and towns.

In county returns, 76 counties shared in a $28,823,723 sales tax disbursement.  The use tax disbursement of $3,695,351 was distributed between 75 counties.

The following list includes new sales and use tax rates for cities, towns and counties and their effective dates.
