The Oklahoma Tax Commission accepts payments for taxes due by check, money order, and EFT.

If you find yourself owing taxes on an account and not able to send those funds with the return, options are available to resolve the payment on those accounts.  First of all, go ahead and send in your return on time. You will be billed for the tax balance due plus penalty and interest. This bill explains payment options.  If you resolve your account within this billing process, no other contact with the Commission is necessary.   If you cannot pay your account in full through the billing process, please contact the Collections Division of the Oklahoma Tax Commission to set up a suitable payment arrangement.

The Collections Division's goal is to help you resolve your account(s) in a timely and professional manner. The Collections Division can be reached at (405) 521-3281. Or call toll-free from within the State at 1 (800) 522-8165, ext. 1-3281.

In the event that the Collections Division is unable to get an account resolved or payment arrangement made within an appropriate time period, the account will be referred to a collections agency.

If you are contacted via OSI, a collection agency contracted with the Oklahoma Tax Commission, you should respond to such personnel in the same manner you would an OTC representative.  These collection agency representatives utilize payment plans, post dated checks and automatic checks to help you reach a balanced account.  If you have any questions about collection agency personnel or would prefer to resolve your account with a representative from the Oklahoma Tax Commission, please contact the Collections Division at one of the numbers listed above.

It is the mission of the Collections Division of the Oklahoma Tax Commission to timely resolve delinquent accounts and to promote compliance with the tax laws of Oklahoma in a fair, consistent and professional manner.
