December 20, 20122012 Income Tax Forms Released
The 2012 income tax forms and packets have been released on the Oklahoma Tax Commission website at www.tax.ok.gov . These forms will be needed for filing purposes in the coming months.
In addition to publishing the income tax forms on the site, the Agency is providing taxpayers with the opportunity to complete forms using a “fill-in” format. Information can be input directly on the form, and in some cases calculations will be made automatically, prior to printing the form out. Users with Adobe Reader XI are also able to save to their computer fill-in forms and the data that is entered, allowing them the ability to work on a form over more than one session. Please visit the Adobe website to download the free Adobe Reader XI.
Taxpayers are also encouraged to try electronically filing their return this year. E-file is simple, safe, speedy and completely secure. File your Federal and Oklahoma forms together beginning January 22, 2013. Just visit www.tax.ok.gov for all filing options, including checking to see if you might be eligible for Free File.
